For all divisions, practice fields are typically at Chapko-Lewis or occasionally at Hoosic Valley Central School field behind the Stewarts. Because of the limited number of fields, the various divisions will play on alternating days during the week, or scheduled throughout the day on weekends. Typically, weekend games are scheduled in the morning.

Various clinics are held within H.V.A.A. in cooperation with the Hoosic Valley Central Schools Boys Baseball Program. Specific skill oriented practice clinics may be offered throughout the year and may require additional fees. Please check with the clinic organizer or H.V.A.A. Baseballl Chair for additional information.

The Baseball Program is seeking dedicated parent and community volunteers interested in supporting the progression of Boys Baseball in Hoosic Valley. Prospective coaches should be eager to develop player skills, team unity, sportsmanlike attitude, and a love of the game in all players. Our coaches typically find the experience very enjoyable and rewarding and many return to coach again. When selected to coach, if you have a child participating in the Association in that sport, that child will be the first player placed on your team. A pre-season coaching clinic will be held for both new and returning coaches and all coaches will be required to attend an H.V.A.A. coaching clinic. If you are interested in applying as a head or assistant coach, please indicate when you register your child, or, you can contact the H.V.A.A. Chair for that sport, listed in the Officer Contacts section of the website.
